Karina Garbarini (b. 2002, New Jersey) is an artist and animator. Hand-drawn animation, working frame by frame on paper, is an important part of her artistic practice, each frame often contributing to a subtle loop, enduring forever in time. Within her work, she memorializes specific, personally meaningful locations and images to encapsulate experiences of intimacy, connection, love, and memory.
