V Tamburello




V Tamburello, an artist from New Jersey, first became interested in animation at a young age. V has always been a fan of writing stories, making characters, and drawing, and she continues to explore those interests in her personal as well as professional practice. Animation is an exciting medium that allows him to bring those stories to life and make them more accessible to a wider audience. Her artistic practice is influenced by her complex identity, the LGBTQ+ community, mental health awareness, and trauma recovery.

The short animated film “Amare Terram" shows the conflicting currents of meeting new people and reconciling old relationships. It explores the complexity of different relationship dynamics, trauma, and the pureness of love without labels. Following the journey of a lonely gardener, we learn about the enchanting world beyond what is known, and discover the true nature of humanity.
