Ash and Sooth

A thief climbs into the ruins of a never-ending cliffside in search of a legendary book, instead finding a caged bird. When he sets it free, the bird transforms into an oracle, and together they flee from a consuming shadow—only to discover that plunging into the abyss might be the only way to take flight.
