April Ieong is a filmmaker from Taiwan. Their practice primarily involves experimental storytelling through hand-drawn animation and digital effects. April is inspired by themes of displacement, the subconscious, the nonhuman, and their childhood home in rural Taiwan, resulting in work that is whimsical, transforming, starry, and cat-like. April also enjoys creating music, baking cookies, and observing all that moves.
