Fenner Weeks

Fenner Weeks (they/them) was born in New York in 2002. Always interested in painting and drawing from a young age, their animation emerges from their love of giving life to materials that can’t breathe on their own. Giving materials a new meaning and a new personality is what makes animation special to them. Making a mess is important to their process and turning materials into something they’re not is always exciting. Their films come together through taping and gluing pieces together and finding the life that grows from experimentation.
