Daniel Svay




Daniel Svay is a first generation Cambodian American, born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island. He is a member of Rhode Island School of Design class of 2024. He started making art at age 5 but realized that animation was his calling in high school. He loves making films about self-discovery and both the daily struggles and understandings that people of color experience. He believes that diverse representation is important in all forms of media and that seeing people on the big screen who look like you, who share your culture and your struggles on the big screen can make you feel less alone.
